A refreshed layout. The same powerful workflows are now easier to navigate.

Updated over 3 months ago

You may have noticed things look a little different in Ideally. We’ve rolled out a fresh interface to streamline how you interact with your insights, without disrupting your existing workflows. Here’s a quick guide to what’s moved and how to get the most out of the new layout.

Filters — Now easier to use, right where you need them

Your demographic and test filters have moved to the right-hand panel, making them more visible and easier to adjust.

At a glance, you’ll see quick-access filters for:

  • Age

  • Gender

  • Household structure

  • Household income

  • Before-the-loop closed answer and test questions

To explore more filters, just click ‘Add’ to browse our full set.

Filter Sets (previously Segments) — Save and switch views effortlessly

What you knew as “Segments” are now called Filter Sets—and they live at the top of your Filters panel. They help you save and quickly switch between commonly used filter combinations.

To create a Filter Set:

  1. Select your desired filters

  2. Click ‘Create new filter set’

  3. Name your set

  4. Click ‘Save’

To update or rename a Filter Set:

  • Use the pencil icon to rename

  • Add/remove filters and click ‘Update filter set’

To export a specific Filter Set’s results:

  • Click ‘Export’ at the bottom of the panel

  • Toggle ‘Use filter selection’ ON

  • Choose your export format

Benchmarks — Find them in the left panel

Your test benchmarks now appear in the bottom left corner of the results view, so you can quickly toggle them on and off while reviewing data.

Export Options — Now in the filters panel

Exports are now located at the bottom of your Filters panel. You can still choose from:

  • PPTX: Slides of your test results

  • XLSX: Spreadsheet with a sheet per question/metric

  • CSV: Flat file of test results

Intelligent Summaries — Now contextual, always available

Summaries now appear within your results for better context. Just hover over a summary to expand it, and click to copy anything that stands out.

What’s Next?

No action is required, but we recommend taking a quick tour of the new layout so you can hit the ground running. If you have questions or feedback, we’re just a message away.
