Translation: Testing in non-English speaking markets

How to approach testing in non-English speaking markets

Updated over a week ago

When testing in a non-English speaking market, keep the following in mind:

Turnaround Times

We allow 36–48 hours for results from non-English speaking markets.

The submission deadline is always 12 noon local time in the market you're testing in.

For example: If you’re based in Australia and testing in Thailand, your project must be submitted by 12pm Australia time to get results within 2 business days.

Stimulus Requirements

If you’re testing in multiple markets and using different stimulus (e.g. images, videos, audio), we need:

  • Final stimulus in the local language

  • A clear label for which market each stimulus is for

Please upload these when you submit your project.

AI Translation

We offer built-in AI translation for non-English markets — at no extra cost.

Our AI is trained for research-quality translation and automatically triggered when you hit Submit. You don’t need to select anything extra. We’ll handle the translation behind the scenes.

For some international tests, minimum credit requirements and timing may differ. Check our international testing guide for details.

Supplying Your Own Translations

Prefer to use your own translation? No problem.

You can upload a line-by-line transcript in .docx or .xlsx format when you submit your project. You’ll need to supply your questions in both English and the target language.

To meet the standard 36–48 hour turnaround, translations must be included at the time of submission.

Results

Your results will be delivered in English, with AI translation applied automatically during data processing.
